Shutts & Bowen LLP is pleased to announce that Rikki Lober Bagatell and Peter A. Rahaghi have been named to leadership roles within their practices. Practice Group Leaders (PGLs) manage and oversee the firm’s formal practice groups.

Rikki Bagatell, a partner in the West Palm Beach office, has been named Co-Chair of the Corporate Practice Group and will lead the group alongside William G. McCullough. Rikki is a Martindale-Hubbell AV® rated attorney. In her corporate practice, she represents domestic and foreign clients in mergers and acquisitions, including through asset transfer, stock transfer, mergers, and other structures; new business entity and joint venture structuring and drafting; restructurings and reorganizations; strategic planning and compliance matters; shareholder/member split-ups; drafting and negotiating contracts, including commercial agreements, sales agreements, license agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, employment agreements and non-competition agreements; and general corporate matters.
Peter Rahaghi, a partner in the Miami office, has been named Co-Chair of the Financial Services Practice Group. He will lead the group alongside Bryan Wells. Peter is recognized by Chambers USA as one of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. Peter routinely represents domestic and international banks, broker-dealers and investment advisory firms in a wide variety of transactions, regulatory and corporate matters. Peter has extensive experience advising clients on complex financing and merger and acquisition transactions, as well as representing investor groups in establishing regulated financial institutions in the United States. Peter also has extensive experience structuring and documenting investment products and services, and advising banks, broker-deals and investment advisers on regulatory compliance matters.
