Shutts & Bowen LLP attorneys Marc Sarnoff and Deedee Bitran recently attended Florida International University Day at the Nova Music Festival Exhibition with Florida International University's Chief Financial Officer, Provost, General Counsel, Law School dean, Dean of the International and Public Affairs, multiple Board of Trustee members, the Executive Director of FIU Hillel, students, and alumni.
The Exhibition presents an in-depth remembrance of the brutal massacre on October 7th and provides visitors with the opportunity to hear firsthand testimony from survivors. According to the exhibitors, “[t]he installation sets out to recreate a festival dedicated to peace and love that was savagely cut short by a terrorist attack on that fateful day. The attack at The Nova Music Festival was the largest massacre in music history.”
Marc Sarnoff currently serves on the Board of Trustees at FIU and Deedee Bitran is an alumna of FIU Law and on the board of FIU Hillel.
