Shutts & Bowen, a full-service business law firm, is pleased to announce that it has elected Jennifer Slone Tobin to its Executive Committee.
Tobin, who joined Shutts in 2002 and serves as a partner in the firm’s Orlando office, is Co-Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. She is Board Certified in Real Estate Law and has a diverse practice representing developers and lenders in a variety of real estate transactions and projects.

Tobin is active in a variety of charitable and community organizations. She currently sits on the Advisory Board of the University of Florida’s Bergstrom Real Estate Center, is a past Board Chair and long-time board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida and has served multiple years on the Municipal Planning Board of the City of Orlando. She has also been a member of the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar for over 10 years, where she served multiple years as the Chair of the Real Property Certification Review Course, and she is currently Vice Chair of the Legislative Update Committee.

She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida and her law degree, magma cum laude, from Duke University School of Law.
