For the third consecutive year, the Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA) recognized Shutts & Bowen as the honoree in the “Attorney/Industry Consultant” category of its annual HYPE (Honor Your Partners Excellence) Awards.

The HYPE Awards is an industry-wide recognition program highlighting the achievements of GOBA’s trade partners, vendors and suppliers. The 2023 HYPE Awards were held on July 13 honored the top-performing trade partners across the industry. With nearly 500 sub-contractor nominations in a series of categories submitted by Central Florida builders, GOBA’s HYPE Awards showcased 2023’s trade professionals excelling in quality, service and performance in residential construction.

The winners in each of the 24 categories were revealed at a highly attended awards celebration in Orlando. For the third year in a row, Shutts was honored in the “Attorney/Industry Consultant” category.

Accepting the award on behalf of the firm was Erik Szabo, a Construction partner in Shutts & Bowen’s Orlando office and an Associate Director on the GOBA board.
