Shutts & Bowen LLP Fort Lauderdale Office Managing Partner Sidney Calloway spoke at the University of Central Florida’s “Lounging with the Lawyers” event on February 5, 2025.
The event, presented by UCF’s Student Government Judicial Branch, offered students the opportunity to learn about professional perspectives in law with attorneys and judges who practice in Florida.
At the event, Sidney highlighted his time in law school, his extensive experience practicing law with Shutts and in the state of Florida, as well as the focus of his practice, his recognitions and his community involvement.

Sidney C. Calloway, Esquire is Managing Partner of the Fort Lauderdale office of Shutts & Bowen LLP and Co-Chair of the Government Law Practice Group. A longtime Martindale-Hubbell AV®-rated lawyer, Sidney is a Leadership Florida Cornerstone XXX member and is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Civil Trial Law, a distinction accorded to less than 2% of Florida's lawyers.
