Stefan Rubin, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, was recently appointed Co-Chair of the Opinions Standards Committee for the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar.
A member of the Opinions Standards Committee for over 15 years, Stefan will continue to work in his leadership position to uphold the Committee’s goal to assist Florida practitioners in the preparation of third party legal opinions which are customarily requested and given in connection with the closing of transactions in Florida and to provide a forum to assist Florida practitioners with new legal opinion issues which arise because of changes to applicable law and/or customary practice in the State of Florida.
The Business Law Section of The Florida Bar provides an organization within The Florida Bar for members interested in corporation, banking, business, bankruptcy, computer and cyber law, anti-trust and franchise law, litigation and related areas of law. The Business Law Section of The Florida Bar also provides a forum for the discussion and exchange of ideas leading to the improvement of the laws relating to these areas of law.
