Stefan Rubin, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, recently spoke to the attendees of the 14th Annual SMART Awards, an Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) event recognizing growing companies headquartered in Central Florida.
Stefan is a past president and current board member of ACG Orlando, and for the past several years has chaired and co-chaired the SMART Awards committee. At the event, Stefan spoke to the event’s attendees about the awards program and selection process, and introduced the finalists for one of the awards categories
ACG Orlando is a networking group for high-level middle market professionals to connect, learn, engage and generate business from trusted relationships. They represent expert advisors to the middle-market corporate growth companies ($10 million to $1 billion) here in Central Florida and beyond. The ACG Orlando Chapter members include middle market companies, private equity firms, commercial and investment bankers, accountants, attorneys and other professional advisors dealing in acquisitions and corporate finance.
The 14th Annual SMART Award demonstrates ACG Orlando's continuing commitment to facilitate relationships among middle-market companies, capital sources and professionals active in deal-making and corporate finance.
The SMART Awards recognize growing companies headquartered in Central Florida - Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Brevard, Volusia, Indian River and Polk counties - with annual revenue of $5 million to $1 billion. It was held on May 17, 2022, at the Alfond Inn in Winter Park.
