Tala Woods, a partner in the Shutts & Bowen’s Jacksonville office, was recently named Treasurer of The Arc Jacksonville and appointed Chair of the Finance Committee.

As the treasurer and a member of the board of directors since 2023, Tala continues to play an active role in the organization’s mission to help individuals with developmental differences enjoy full and independent lives.\

Founded in 1965, the Arc Jacksonville is an organization which serves over 500 individuals with intellectual and developmental differences a day with high quality services, and advocates for them to reach their full potential and participate in the community. For more information, click here.

Tala A. Woods is a Partner in the Jacksonville office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Corporate Practice Group. Tala focuses her practice on public finance and corporate law. She has experience in a variety of public finance transactions including governmental bonds and private activity bonds.
