Timothy Woodward, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office and leader of the Construction practice group, recently authored an article in the Fall 2021 edition of the Florida Transportation Builder Magazine, entitled “Top 10 Claims Mistakes Made by Contractors and Designers.”

In the article, Tim discuss common pitfalls made by contractors and designers when managing claims. He also reviews practical tips on how to avoid costly mistakes with regard to early claims management, from the perspective of a construction litigator. In addition to detailing the top ten mistakes that occur in claims, Tim also highlights strategies for contractors and designers to correctly manage potential claims situations.
