Victoria Méndez Honored as a 2025 South Florida Woman of Impact by the American Heart Association

Miami partner Victoria Méndez was recently nominated as a 2025 South Florida Woman of Impact by the American Heart Association (AHA).

This nomination recognizes Victoria's commitment to women's heart health. As part of this honor, she will participate in a dynamic 9-week competition, which began on February 7th—National Wear Red Day—and will continue through April 10th. The initiative aims to raise awareness and funds for advancing heart health research.

Throughout the competition, nominees like Victoria will lead teams, develop impactful campaigns, and engage the community to drive change. The nominee whose team achieves the greatest impact will be awarded the title of local Woman of Impact Award Winner.

The Go Red for Women Initiative, a global movement by the AHA, unites individuals worldwide in the fight against women’s cardiovascular disease. This initiative underscores the importance of collective action in improving heart health outcomes for women.
