Woody Pollack to Speak on Panel at CLE Event for the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association

Woodrow “Woody” Pollack, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office and Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property practice group, will be speaking on a panel at an upcoming CLE event for Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association titled “Discussion of Use of Artificial Intelligence from Intellectual Property Issues to Ethical Issues” on October 22, 2024.

In addition to Woody, the program will feature the Honorable Christopher Tuite (Middle District of Florida), Kevin Johnson (Johnson Jackson) and Mindi Richter (Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick).  The program is also approved for Florida CLE credit including 1.0 General, Ethics and Technology as well as 1.0 IP Certification Credit.

The Federal Bar Association (FBA), founded in 1920, is dedicated to the advancement of the science of jurisprudence and to promoting the welfare, interests, education, and professional development of all attorneys involved in federal law. Their members run the gamut of federal practice: attorneys practicing in small to large legal firms, attorneys in corporations and federal agencies, and members of the judiciary. Membership in the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is comprised of any active member of the Federal Bar Association who resides or has his or her employment or office in the following counties which make up the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida: Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota.

Woodrow “Woody” H. Pollack is a partner in the Tampa office of Shutts & Bowen, where he is Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property practice group.  Woody is Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law by The Florida Bar. He focuses his practice on litigating complex patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret disputes. He litigates matters in state and federal courts as well as patent validity issues before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board.  He also counsels clients extensively in developing patent and trademark portfolios.
