Shutts & Bowen attorney, Ahmand Johnson, was recognized by Legal Aid Service of Broward County at its recent 8th Annual For the Public Good awards presentation.
Mr. Johnson received the 2009 Young Lawyers Award for assisting Legal Aid Service’s Housing Unit to obtain $17,000 in attorneys fees due to Legal Aid. At the presentation, Mr. Johnson was commended for his efforts on Legal Aid’s behalf during a time of increasing funding cuts to the organization.
Mr. Johnson practices in Shutts & Bowen’s Fort Lauderdale office, where his experience includes commercial litigation and contract disputes. He is also licensed by the National Football League Players Association as a Certified Contract Advisor.
