Alexander I. Tachmes, a partner in Shutts & Bowen’s Real Estate Practice Group in Miami, was a guest lecturer at Florida International University's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management on November 19, 2009.
Mr. Tachmes, who has an active practice representing clients in the hospitality industry, was invited to speak on negotiating hotel management agreements. Students attending the program were hospitality graduate students, who want to improve their business acumen to become entrepreneurs or upper management personnel.
Mr. Tachmes concentrates his practice in the areas of governmental matters including land use and zoning, competitive bidding and lobbying, commercial transactions including real estate, and matters pertaining to the hospitality industry.
