Arthur J. Menor, Managing Partner of Shutts & Bowen’s West Palm Beach office, was a panelist at the Diversity Summit organized by the Palm Beach County Bar Association held on Friday, October 14, 2011.
The Town Hall Panel was moderated by retired Judge Edward Rodgers. Other members of the panel included Florida Supreme Court Justice James Perry, Daryl Parks, President of the National Bar Association, and representatives from the U.S. Attorney's Office, the Public Defender's and State Attorney's Offices.
Welcoming remarks were made by John M. Howe, President of the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Florida Supreme Court Justice James E. Perry was a guest speaker, in addition to his role as a panelist. The Summit provided an open forum for law firm representatives and members of the bench and bar to discuss new programs to increase the diversity in the Palm Beach community. New diversity initiatives and opportunities for firms to attract and retain diverse legal talent were discussed at this one-half day program.
