On January 24, Miami-Dade County officials held a pre-application meeting for Northside Commons, an affordable housing complex proposed in the West Little River area of the county. The seven-story, 80-unit building is under contract to Miami-based Carrfour Supportive Housing, a nonprofit affordable housing developer.
Land Use & Zoning partner David Coviello represents Carrfour in the proposed development. In an article published in the South Florida Business Journal, David said the property was chosen because of the documented need for affordable and supportive housing in the area and its proximity to neighborhood services.
