New partners Eric Christu and Steven Parson join recently hired attorneys John Mariani, Timothy Monaghan and Joel Strawn, in the firm's West Palm Beach office, significantly strengthening its health care, litigation and real estate practices and its Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast presence.
Business litigator Eric Christu and real estate lawyer Steven Parson each have at least 25 years’ experience.

Christu is among the first attorneys designated by The Florida Bar as Board Certified in Business Litigation and specializes in complex commercial and business litigation with a particular emphasis on real estate-related matters. He is Past President of the Palm Beach County Federal Bar Association and Past Chair of The Florida Bar’s Business Litigation Certification Committee. He is an honors graduate of the University of Minnesota and received his J.D. at the Georgetown University Law Center. He will be a member of Shutts’ statewide Litigation Group. He lives in Palm Beach.
Parson concentrates his practice on real estate acquisition, development and sale, commercial lending, troubled loan workouts, title-related matters and leasing. He represents national and local developers and national lending institutions in a full range of complex, sophisticated real estate matters, including regional shopping malls, office buildings, retail centers, large residential communities and multi-state real estate loans. He received his B.S. with high distinction from Pennsylvania State University, and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was an editor at the law review and received several scholastic honors. He lives in Jupiter.
