Eric C. Reed, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, recently organized and hosted the 14th Annual Holiday Golf Tournament with proceeds supporting the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Florida (RMHCCF). He currently serves on the board of the charity as Second Vice-Chair.

Held at the Eagle Creek Golf Club and in accordance with social distancing measures, 114 players participated in the annual tournament on December 19, 2020. Also in attendance from the Shutts Orlando office was attorney Michael Kaney. Participating players and sponsors helped raise thousands of dollars in contribution to the RMHCCF, which operates three separate Ronald McDonald Houses in the Orlando area to support 2,700 families of critically ill children a year.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Florida finds, creates and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and families. Their cornerstone program, the Ronald McDonald House, provides a home away from home for families with children receiving treatment at hospitals and medical facilities in Orlando, keeping families together when they need it the most.
