Fort Lauderdale partner Jackie Howe was recently appointed Board Chair for the YMCA of South Florida, an organization impacting more than 500,000 members of the South Florida community. As chair, Jackie will support the work of the staff team and provide oversight and leadership to the overall organization.
In the organization’s January - February 2017 member newseltter, Jackie notes the history of Shutts & Bowen and the YMCA. The first Board of Directors meeting was held in the firm’s office in 1916. Shutts & Bowen has supported the Y for more than 100 years, and Jackie will continue leading it into the next era of service to the community.
