Miami attorney Logan Gans was a featured speaker at the 38th Annual International Tax Conference & Boot Camp on January 15, 2020. Logan discussed topics related to inbound taxation, including the U.S. sourcing rules, U.S. trade or business analysis, and the Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act (“FIRPTA”). Logan is also a member of the FICPA International Tax Committee that annually plans the International Tax Conference & Boot Camp.
The International Tax Conference & Boot Camp, which is presented by the FICPA and the Florida Bar Tax Section, is tailored specifically for international tax professionals to assist them in the various challenges they will face in this field. This year's Boot Camp covered topics in international inbound and outbound taxation as well as international tax forms.
