Amanda Simmons Luby, a partner in the Orlando office of Shutts & Bowen & co-founder of the firm’s Equine Law Practice Group, attended the Second National Thoroughbred Owner Conference held the week of January 11 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla. Shutts & Bowen co-sponsored a luncheon for attendees on Tuesday, January 12.
This educational and entertaining event was a unique opportunity for thoroughbred owners and those passionate about horse racing. The conference featured informational sessions, live racing, a chance to meet top trainers and other owners, and a keynote address by Jim Rome, a prominent thoroughbred owner and television and radio host.
