Paul Scheck, a partner with Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, has been elected President-Elect of the Orange County Bar Association, with his term beginning on June 1, 2012. A very active member of the OCBA for many years, Mr. Scheck was previously elected Secretary and Treasurer, and is also a previous President of the OCBA’s Young Lawyers’ Section.
When asked about becoming the President-Elect of the OCBA, Mr. Scheck said, “I am tremendously honored to have been elected by my peers, and I look forward to serving them, as well as the citizens of Orange County, over the next two years.”
Mr. Scheck is a partner in the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. He concentrates his practice primarily in the area of labor and employment on behalf of management. He has litigated claims in both state and federal court involving employment discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and breaches of restrictive covenants. Mr. Scheck is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Law.
