MIAMI, FL— Miranda Lundeen Soto, a partner with the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen, served as a speaker at the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel’s (FDCC) Inaugural Public Speaking Conference in Scottsdale on Tuesday, March 3, the day prior to the start of the Winter Conference. Soto’s presentation, “From Good to Great- How to Get to the Next Level of Public Speaking,” discussed how attorneys can use their skills developed through the practice of law to improve their public speaking abilities.
Soto is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group and her practice includes commercial and business disputes, professional and legal malpractice claims, product liability, complex fraud matters, public policy matters, cases of first impression, high-stakes personal injury cases, franchisee/franchisor litigation, trust and estate litigation and premises liability at the state and federal levels.
She is Florida Bar Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and has tried more than 50 cases, bench and jury trials. Within the FDCC, she currently serves as Membership State Representative from Florida and is Vice Chair of the Trial Tactics, Practice and Procedures Section as well as Vice Chair of the Products Liability Section.
Soto received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and her law degree from Drake University School of Law.
