The Tampa Bay Business Journal has recognized Shutts & Bowen for the second time as a ‘2019 Best Place to Work’ top honoree in the large business category. Overall, the Tampa office ranked number seven in their category with a Quantum score of 93.200 (out of 100).
Participating companies in the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s ‘Best Places to Work’ are categorized into size groups, from small (10-24 employees) to large (100+ employees). Rankings for the honorees are determined by a third party service which surveys employees from companies to be evaluated for team effectiveness, retention risk, alignment with goals, trust with co-workers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement and people practices.
In a profile honoring the Tampa office of Shutts & Bowen, Tampa Managing Partner, Alan Higbee, remarked on the firm’s continued growth and talent acquisitions, the dedication to clients and the community shown by all employees, the culture and team synergy of the Tampa office.
When asked about occasions when the team pulls together, Alan Higbee replied, “Through our dedicated pro bono efforts led by Tampa partner, Ella Shenhav, we come together to help those less fortunate in our community overcome their obstacles. We are proud and honored to be the program coordinator for all Tampa Bay legal volunteers for the ‘Project H.E.L.P’ pro bono legal clinic offered to families in need at Metropolitan Ministries.”
