An article in the Palm Beach Post discusses Mark Bellisimo’s plan for a hotel and condos on the International Polo Club property.
Partner Matthew Chait, attorney for the Jeremy Jacobs family of Wellington, filed a legal complaint alleging that Wellington improperly brought the plan to the advisory board without getting a completed traffic study.
Matt was quoted in the article as saying, “Regardless of the situation, the Village is obligated to ensure development applications are complete, that the law is followed, and that any proposal and its impacts are clearly articulated to the public before they certify it. Rules should not be broken to benefit one developer, and fast-tracking major changes is doing a disservice to all Wellington residents.”
