William P. Cassidy, Jr., a litigator in Shutts & Bowen’s Tampa office, was selected to chair the Florida Bar Labor and Employment Section’s ABA Liaison Subcommittee of the Membership Outreach Committee. Mr. Cassidy will serve a one year term.
Mr. Cassidy represents management clients in employment law, including Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, representation of employers before the National Labor Relations Board on matters involving concerted activity, and both Florida and federal whistleblower laws. He also has extensive experience in other complex federal actions including litigating under Title III of the ADA, the Lanham Act, as well as general commercial disputes governed by federal and state law.
