Sarah J. Harnden is a partner in the Sarasota office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Private Client Services Practice Group.
Sarah focuses her practice on trusts and estates, with an emphasis on analytical estate planning and administration. Her experience includes the representation of clients in matters related to wills, trusts, power of attorney, planned giving, estate and death tax planning, beneficiary agreements, irrevocable trusts, as well as all aspects of the probate process.
Sarah regularly tailors her clients’ needs as they are related to personal and business assets, estate tax implications, risk exposure and various fiduciary matters in order to meet their financial, personal and wealth preservation goals. She also assists high net worth clients by offering strategies in generation skipping tax trusts, spousal lifetime access trusts, marital agreements, and various corporate documents for closely held businesses.
