Timothy W. Odzer is an Associate in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group.
Tim represents clients in civil litigation. He practices in both state and federal courts in Florida and assists clients throughout all phases of dispute resolution. His experience includes defending clients against claims involving breach of contract, breach of express and implied warranties, and obtaining favorable declaratory judgments from courts.
Prior to entering private practice, Tim served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Karen Hayes of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and the Honorable Sheri Polster Chappell of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
While attending the University of Chicago Law School, Tim participated in the University's Corporate Lab Clinic where he performed corporate and transactional work for Fortune 200 and start-up companies. Tim also interned for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the North Carolina Department of Justice.
