In the Orlando Office, Michael D. Crosbie, joins as a partner in the Business Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Crosbie will continue his representation of clients in litigation matters involving business disputes, intellectual property, and real property. Mr. Crosbie’s clients include banks, financial consultants, publishing companies, entertainment groups, physicians, venture capital entities, and emerging medical and technology companies.
In the Tampa Office, Murray B. Silverstein joins as a Partner in the Business Litigation Group. He represents individuals and businesses in a variety of commercial and real-estate related disputes in state and federal courts in jury and non-jury trials. He holds board certifications in business litigation and civil trial by the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In addition, Mr. Silverstein is a certified mediator with more than 15 years of experience in helping parties resolve their commercial, contract, shareholder, real estate, construction, employment and related disputes.
In the Miami Office, Michael B. Lozoff and Bruce M. Boiko join the Financial Services Group as Partners in the Credit Union Section.
Mr. Lozoff will Chair the Credit Union group. He is recognized nationally in the field of credit union law and has lectured at numerous industry conferences and workshops. Additionally, Mr. Lozoff serves as general counsel to numerous credit unions in Florida and other states.
Mr. Boiko devotes his practice to the representation of state and federal credit unions and represents clients in real estate, business and commercial transactions. He lectures and gives workshops and seminars in areas affecting federally insured financial institutions, such as regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, creditors’ rights in bankruptcy and policies and procedures. He has also conducted a variety of internal and institutional compliance audits for credit unions.
