David O. Batista is a Partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Insurance Practice Group.
David is an accomplished trial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, including insurance (with a focus on liability and property insurance), business torts, construction, financial services, corporate, shareholder and partnership disputes, and products liability cases. He has served as lead trial counsel in high-damage federal and state jury trials and arbitrations. David is well regarded for implementing winning strategies that are both cost-effective and aligned with his client’s business interests.
